One of my favorite daily rituals is dropping a few essential oils right on the shower floor before I hop in. The steam does all the work, no diffuser, no prep, just pure aromatherapy magic. It’s the simplest way to make an everyday shower feel a little more luxurious (and it’s especially dreamy on chilly mornings or when you’re stuffy).
Here are my top 5 oils I reach for again and again:
Peppermint — instantly wakes you up and clears your head. Perfect for those early mornings when coffee hasn’t quite kicked in yet.
R.C. — a blend that’s amazing for opening up your airways. It’s my go-to anytime I feel that hint of congestion or just want that crisp, clean scent.
Raven — cooling, refreshing, and perfect for a deep-breath moment mid-shower. I especially love this one during fall and winter. It smells like a Wintergreen Lifesaver.
Eucalyptus Radiata — feels like a mini spa session in the shower. It’s calming and helps me breathe a little deeper.
Lemon — bright, cheerful, and mood-boosting. I love adding this one on days I need a little extra sunshine energy.
How to do it:
Just drop 3–5 drops on the shower floor before you turn the water on. Try to aim for the corners so the scent lasts longer as the steam builds.
